Julia is a highly accomplished Forensic Psychologist and Scientist-Practitioner who pioneered the private-sector practice of forensic psychology in Singapore, holding a Doctorate in the field. She is proficient in forensic psychological assessment and report-writing for Court purposes across criminal, civil, and family matters, utilizing clinical interviews, psychometric testing and thorough case formulation to enhance understanding of complex medico-legal issues.

As a leading expert witness, she has authored more than 600 forensic reports for Courts in Singapore and the ASEAN region since 2009, with her reports consistently regarded as outstanding by legal and court officials. Julia's three decades of experience span three countries (Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore), encompassing diverse settings including universities, hospitals, prisons, and correction services. Her academic rigor is evident through her extensive research and lecturing, specializing in areas like addictions, problem gambling, and impulse-control disorders, and she also serves as a university lecturer in Singapore.
